Visiting hours
Visiting hours for all wards are every day between:
- 10 am - 12 pm and 3 pm - 8 pm.
If you can't get to the hospital during visiting hours, we may be able to arrange another time for you to visit. Talk to the staff in charge of the ward to see what we can do.

Parking and public transport
There's parking to the left of the hospital entrance. There's street parking on Rankin Street, The Esplanade and Alice Street.
There's a bus stop opposite the hospital on Rankin Street.
You'll have to call your own taxi as we do not provide them at the hospital. Taxi pick up is at the rotunda at the front of the hospital.
Pharmacy
There is a pharmacy located on the ground floor in building 2 (PDF, 93.3KB). It's open to the public for hospital issued prescriptions. This pharmacy is not for general community use.
If you are an outpatient or need medicine when you leave hospital, you may need to pay for your medication. Read more about medications and your stay in hospital.
